For more than 20 years, BESite Productions has been the trading name of filmmaker, photographer, designer and artist, Neil Montgomery; me. The website covers the broad spectrum of my creative work and demonstrates the variety of skills that are available to you as a client. At the core is filmmaking, photography and design. No project is too small or too big for me to consider and the range stretches from multi-camera broadcast productions to the design of a business card. Filmmaking and photography have been passions of mine since my youth; I grew up in an environment where my father worked as a graphic designer and ‘art’ was central to our lives as a family. I’ve worked in the traditional mediums of silver halide imaging, chemical processing and letter-by-letter typesetting but since its inception I have had a fascination for digital imaging and processing; essentially the new tools for implementing creative concepts … and I’m still learning, as 3D, Augmented Reality and Virtual Worlds become increasingly desirable conventions in the marketplace. I tend to use the suite of Adobe tools for my work and have considerable experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, In Design and After Effects, augmented by the use of programs like Blender for the construction of 3D objects and environments.
I’m based in Sevilla, Spain, having moved here in 2010, but my work takes me wherever it needs to go, even to quite literally the other side of the world. Every project begins with a conversation; some are brief, simple, urgent conversations and others lengthy, multi-vocal, complicated conversations. The quality of these conversations have a direct impact on the subsequent performance and the sooner they begin the better; it’s rarely too early too start the conversation, but often can be too late … get in touch.
